NORTH HIGHLANDS, CA, April 07, 2011 (Press-News.org) In a new article on her personal blog Roni Deutch explains why taxpayers should consider requesting an automatic extension, even if they intend to get their returns filed before the tax deadline.
"The deadline to file your tax return is just around the corner," says Deutch. "If you still have not filed, I highly recommend taking a minute to request an automatic 6 month extension of time to file with the IRS. Why? There's no penalty for filing early or for asking for an extension you don't need, but there sure is a penalty for filing late. The extension is a 'better safe than sorry' move that can save you a lot of cash!"
"To request your extension," continues Deutch, "all you have to do is fill out and mail in Form 4868 Application for Automatic Extension of Time to File U.S. Individual Income Tax Return before April 18th. You can even file the extension online, day or night. It's your right as a taxpayer to request an extension, and there is really no excuse for not getting it done. Remember that it MUST be mailed by April 18. If it's late, the IRS will not accept it."
However, Roni warns taxpayers that this deadline extension gives you more time to file your return, not time to pay the IRS.
"When you file IRS Form 4868 you will have an additional 6 months to file your federal tax return," Deutch explains, "but if you owe more taxes, those are still due by April 18. If you are likely to owe the IRS, you should make an estimated payment, or you will be looking at late penalty fees and interest accruing each month your payment is late."
For more information of requesting an extension with the IRS, check out this article published on Roni Deutch: The Tax Lady Blog.

Professional Home Referrals-Get The Look Of Stone With Stamped Concrete

Stone and paver patios can enhance a landscape and be the center piece for your guests to enjoy for a Saturday evening barbecue. Although, a natural stone or paver patio can be expensive there are alternatives with stamped concrete creating the real look of pavers or natural stone including flag stone, brick, cobble stone, slate and more. Paver patios can be very tedious and more costly for the average DIY'er having to lay each individual paver or stone. Concrete is placed quicker and easier. Durability is an issue as well. Concrete will last years longer than pavers and ...

Home Loan Modification Scams Widespread
Homeowners in risk of foreclosure can face a lot of stress and worry. Some dishonest companies are taking advantage of those desperate for help paying the mortgage by claiming they can guarantee to stop a foreclosure, but fail to help the homeowner in any way. Often they will ask for a large one-time up-front fee to take care of a loan modification, and then walk away with your money.
Many frauds begin with a person or company that pretends to be a government agency or program. They may mimic government websites and program ...
I Divorce You

I Divorce You
Divorce, sadly, is not an all too uncommon experience in America. This is even true among the many immigrants or foreign residents of this country; those immigrants and foreign residents of our country also bring with them their cultural customs and religious practices. Many of the customs and practices also concern divorce, which, at times, conflict with the American legal system's notion of divorce.
Particularly, this is true amongst many immigrants or visitors who hail from countries that abide by Islamic laws (Sharia) and customs. At times, Sharia, ...

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has been focusing a large effort on reducing the number of distracted drivers, with special focus on banning texting and handheld phone use. The campaign is in full swing, but some data suggests that recent laws banning handheld devices and texting are not solving the problem.
Texting has by far received the most attention from state legislatures. Currently 30 states ban text messaging for all ...
