NOTTINGHAM, ENGLAND, April 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) Lifft slings, has created some short videos showing the benefits of wearing a sling, as well as hints and tips as to how to best use them.
LifftTM Slings is the only known sling scientifically proven to improve posture, as the sling encourages the baby's weight to be spread evenly across the wearer's body.
The sling has four wearing positions and so a full instruction video is available demonstrating all of these - the Buddha lift, Side lift, Front lift and Fold. In addition, it demonstrates how the sling can be used effectively for discreet breastfeeding.
Although the Lifft sling, is for all intense purposes a nurturing way of carrying your child. However it can also be used as a changing mat, a play mat and a blanket when needed. The videos highlight these points and show Louise demonstrating these uses.
Lifft slings has made these available for free online at YouTube on 'TheLifftSling's Channel'. The videos show different ways of using the Sling to maximise its benefits, some for general advice and some that users wouldn't think of.
Lifft slings are designed to fit the wearer as the fit of a baby sling is crucial to protect both the wearer's and baby's posture. Therefore the sling is available in a multitude of sizes (http://www.lifftslings.com/site/content_sizing.php) and styles, for both mums' and dads' shape (and taste!) - from 6 through to 22 for ladies, or S through to XL for men. The Lifft Sling is suitable for your little one from birth right through to toddlerhood to approx 3 years of age (35lbs) - and of course used again for any newborns to come!
Louise Day explains the reasoning behind the new videos: "We've always included instructions with the slings showing tips for use, however there's nothing like watching someone else do it. The videos are designed to fully show the many uses of a Lifft sling to reduce the risk for the user when purchasing. You always feel more re-assured when you can see things working, especially when it's for your child."
The Lifft sling is now also with a new logo; it is more detailed with delicate filigree and smaller lifft lettering. Now the brand is getting established the branding can become more subtle.
As well as this Lifft Slings has just launched a new navy sling, exclusive to Boots; available now.
About Us:
Lifft is the only scientifically proven to improve posture as found in research undertaken by the University of Central Lancaster. The Lifft Sling is exclusively designed to offer you and your baby supreme levels of comfort and style, and that is so very easy to use. It also ensures that the carrying positions of your baby are natural - the sling mimics how you would carry your baby in your arms. With a fuss free hands-free design the sling allows for discreet breastfeeding. Whilst in the Lifft Sling your baby can always see your face, hear your voice and your heartbeat and feel swaddled and secure. They are available to buy from stockists nationwide in the UK and you can also buy the baby sling from the Lifft website.
