Z-Push is an open-source ActiveSync implementation that synchronizes email, contacts, calendar and tasks with Zarafa. Compatible devices include Apple iPhone, Android, Palm Treos, Windows Mobile and Windows Phone 7 based smart phones. BlackBerry devices are integrated with Zarafa by using the BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) or BlackBerry Enterprise Server Express (BES Express).
Zarafa supports MAPI, POP3, IMAP, iCAL and Caldav and most email and calendaring clients using these protocols including Outlook, Thunderbird, Sunbird and the Mac OS X iCal Client. Zarafa also supports integration with O3Spaces. Zarafa server runs on most Linux servers (e.g. Red Hat, SuSE, Ubuntu LTS and Debian) and is also certified for the Univention Corporate Server (UCS) enterprise Linux operating system were it integrates tightly with the Univention management tools. Both O3Spaces and Univention are distributed by Custom Technology in ANZ.
