BUDAPEST, HUNGARY, April 10, 2011 (Press-News.org) NNG (formerly Nav N Go), developer of the award-winning iGO Navigation software, has appointed Peter Balogh as interim Chief Executive Officer. The new leader takes up his role on 1st April. Being one of the founders, he held various positions within the company, therefore he has a clear view on the firms operation and strengths. As Chief Strategy Officer, he led the company to the automotive navigation market.
The company has recently changed its name and strengthened its strategy to increasingly focus on the automotive navigation industry, working globally with car manufacturers and leading Tier1 suppliers.
Peter Balogh replaces Tamas Vahl, who held the position of CEO between December 2008 and March 2011, during a challenging period of great change and reorientation in the company. Under his leadership, NNG became a mature and highly professional organization.
