PrintPlace.com Extends Deadline for Poster Design Contest

The Poster Design Contest by PrintPlace.com now has a new deadline. Originally, PrintPlace.com set the dates for the contest to be August 2nd to September 3rd, but extended the dates to give contestants more time to perfect their poster designs.

DALLAS, TX, September 10, 2010 (Press-News.org) The Poster Design Contest by PrintPlace.com now has a new deadline. Originally, PrintPlace.com set the dates for the contest to be August 2nd to September 3rd, but extended the dates to give contestants more time to perfect their poster designs. The contest, which allows contestants a chance to compete for prizes using their poster design talents, now opens on September 7th and ends on October 22, 2010, 2am CT.

Contestants, who must be US residents, are allowed to submit any style of poster to the Poster Design Contest as long as the design includes typography. Graphics are optional and posters must be between 11X17 and 18X24 in size. Contest judges will consider both creativity and typography when choosing the top three finalists from among entries. Every valid entry, including .the finalists, will receive 250 free business cards from PrintPlace.com, and the finalists will move on to the final round of the contest, which involves public voting to determine the top winner.

PrintPlace.com will place the three finalists' posters on the PrintPlace blog, and the public will then vote for their favorite poster design. Contest rules allow only one vote per poster per day. Once public voting has ended, the poster design with the most public votes will win a $500 printing credit with PrintPlace.com, a brand new Apple iPad, and placement of their poster on the PrintPlace.com poster page.
