Survey Results to be Revealed During Timeshare and Fractional Networking Expo GNEX 2011

Ron Kurtz, president of the American Affluence Research Center, will be providing details of his Spring Survey of Affluent Americans during the timeshare and fractional industry event.

2011-04-13
NORTHUMBERLAND, ENGLAND, April 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) The latest Spring Survey of Affluent Americans reveals that they have a better outlook for the economy and their spending plans than they did six months ago. This is according to Ron Kurtz, president of the American Affluence Research Center, from information gathered through the Spring 2011 Survey conducted by the Center. Mr. Kurtz will be announcing details from the survey during his keynote address on Day One of Perspective Magazine's global networking expo, GNEX 2011.

"Affluent Americans account for about half of all consumer spending and they report a better outlook for the economy and their personal spending plans in our new spring survey," said Mr. Kurtz. "Spending plans for all 17 products and services tracked by our surveys of the wealthiest 10% of U.S. households are much stronger than in our fall 2010 survey."

Mr. Kurtz will discuss results ranging from the market potential for vacation homes, including timeshare, fractional ownership and destination clubs, among affluent and luxury consumers during the next 12 months to the increased interest (versus the spring 2009 survey) in each of the various forms of vacation ownership.

His discussion will also provide an understanding of the general mood of the affluent and their expectations for their personal income over the next 12 months and give a basic perspective on general market conditions that will determine marketing opportunities and challenges.

Widely quoted in publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Mr. Kurtz has managed assignments for a diverse list of prominent clients that have included American Express, Merrill Lynch, Philip Morris, Home Shopping Network, The Travel Channel, Cable & Wireless, Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and Rio Suites Hotel & Casino.

GNEX 2011, and the Perspective Magazine Awards Gala, is scheduled for May 11th - 12th, 2011 at the magnificent Atlantis Resort in Nassau, Bahamas.

Delegates will gather to network with colleagues from around the world in a setting designed to create new ideas for improving industry best practices. The expo will feature a welcome reception, interactive workshops, open networking time, an exhibitor hall and areas to foster individual business opportunities. The event will culminate with the Perspective Magazine Awards Gala where "Best In Region" and "Best In The World" award winners will be crowned from nearly 150 award entrants.
