Dossia Supports "3rd Annual Public Health and Technology Conference" at Harvard School of Public Health

Leading Personal Health Management System provider helps bring together academic and industry thought leaders for day of discussions around the future of Health Information Technology

CAMBRIDGE, MA, April 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) Dossia, a leading Personal Health Management System provider, announced today that it is supporting the Harvard School of Public Health's Public Health and Technology Student Forum's 3rd Annual Public Health and Technology Conference. The conference, entitled "Enabling the Adoption of HIT to Transform Patient Care," is a daylong event that will bring together industry and academic experts to discuss the current state of Health IT in the US as well as a vision for the future. The conference will take place at the historic Harvard Club of Boston, on Monday, April 25th, 2011.

The list of confirmed speakers includes Dossia CEO Mike Critelli, as well as keynotes from Dr. David Blumenthal, Former National Coordinator for Health IT, and Dr. David W. Bates, Chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

The Public Health and Technology Conference is intended audiences from care delivery settings, technology companies, and health plans. In addition to keynote speakers, the conference will feature a morning panel focusing on supporting providers to achieve meaningful use of EHRs, and an afternoon panel focusing on new and innovative technologies to engage patients and providers in care delivery.
