National Coordinator for Health Information Technology to be a keynote speaker at the Healthcare Informatics Executive Summit

NEW YORK, NY, April 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) Newly-appointed National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, Farzad Mostashari, M.D., ScM, will be a keynote speaker at the Healthcare Informatics Executive Summit, taking place May 11-13, 2011 at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco.

The Summit, presented by Healthcare Informatics, in conjunction with AMDIS and KLAS, will feature health IT industry leaders from across the country, with presentations and roundtable discussions on meaningful use obligations under healthcare reform and the move towards new levels of patient data privacy under enhanced HIPAA regulations. Also presenting a keynote address is Carolyn Clancy, M.D., Director of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
