NEW YORK, NY, April 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) The Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce will honor Bill Harden as Citizen of the Year, and Mount Kisco Child Care Center as Outstanding Non Profit of the Year, during its 44th Annual Dinner Dance on May 5th, 2011. The Dinner Dance will take place on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at BMW Mt. Kisco, 250 Kisco Avenue, Mount Kisco, NY. The evening will begin at 6:30pm with wine and hors d'oeuvres followed by dinner, dancing and an awards ceremony.
Bill Harden, founder and owner of Accel Printing & Graphics Corporation, in Mount Kisco, has been a local business owner and Chamber member for more than 30 years. Harden has served as the Chamber's President for four years, and he continues to support the community through "Fun Raising" auctions for many local charities and non-profit organizations. He serves as a Board Member for the Northern Westchester Business Group and member and past trustee of the First Congregational Church in Chappaqua. Bill currently resides in Heritage Hills with his wife, Ann.
Mount Kisco Child Care Center will be honored by the Chamber for their continuing efforts to provide exceptional, affordable child care to Northern Westchester families. Throughout its forty years, the Center has grown from 75 children to 160 and has introduced its Infant Care Program, Feed Me Fresh, and Intergenerational programs. This year is the Center's 40th anniversary, and Dottie Jordan, Executive Director of the Center, celebrates her 26th year anniversary with the center.
The Chamber is accepting silent auction items and offers advertising opportunities in the dinner journal.
