DHurn Enterprises Announces Availability of Four Free Videos Showing Middle School, High School and College Students How to Improve their GPAs

Deanna Hurn, an Academic Coach, has created a tutoring program that has helped students increase their GPAs by as many as two points in one semester. She is providing highlights of her proven strategies in a series of free videos.

2011-04-13
FAIRFIELD, CA, April 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) Academic Coach Deanna Hurn is making four free videos available to help middle school, high school and college students boost their grades. The videos can be accessed at http://www.gpamakeoverlearning.com and are a free introduction to Hurn's "GPA+ Makeover Program," a distance learning alternative to traditional tutoring.

"With my web-based program, students benefit from the same support and guidance of a one-on-one tutor but at less cost and with greater convenience," says Hurn, who has helped students boost their GPAs by as many as two points in one semester.

"Many parents are desperate to help their children achieve academic success but don't have the big bucks to hire a traditional tutor," she says. Parents will pay about 80 percent less for the GPA+ Makeover Program than they would for one-on-one tutoring.

The free videos, which provide highlights of the program's study techniques, are: "Why Should I Care about my GPA?" "The Power of Choosing your GPA+," "On Top and on Time," and "The Secrets to Increasing your GPA+ this Week."

Hurn, founder of DHurn Enterprises, developed "The GPA+ Makeover Program after an unplanned pregnancy almost ended her goal of graduating from college.

But she married her high-school sweetheart and graduated from U.C. Santa Barbara with a degree in Actuarial Science in 2006. Hurn credits her success to a self-discipline plan that she has developed into "The GPA+ Makeover Program."

"I was tempted to give up many times, but I refused to give up my dream of finishing college," she says. "I'm thrilled that I can share this program with students who struggled as I did. I want to show them that with the right attitude and the right information, they can be successful, not only in school but also in life."

DHurn Enterprises is a full-service academic coaching company providing individualized enrichment plans that empower middle school, high school and college students to succeed. The company specializes in educational methods proven to boost academic performance, including the GPA Makeover Program and the GPA Makeover Summer Boot Camp.
