Southeast Mortgage Hires Joe Wargo as Executive Mortgage Loan Originator

Joe Wargo, formerly with MetLife Mortgage, hired on as executive mortgage loan originator and certified mortgage Planning specialist (CMPS)

ATLANTA, GA, April 14, 2011 (Press-News.org) Southeast Mortgage, a full service Georgia mortgage lender and one of the largest non-bank lenders in the Southeast, has named Joe Wargo as its new executive mortgage loan originator and CMPS as of Dec. 1.

"Joe knows this industry inside and out, and we knew that bringing him on to our team was a smart and easy decision," said Cal Haupt, president and founder of Southeast Mortgage. "He is extremely involved and invested, and we look forward to a bright new individual on our team."

Wargo has been in the banking and mortgage lending industry since 1990 and has held sales, operations and management roles over his 20-year career. Wargo is currently on the board for the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia, Atlanta chapter. Wargo is also active in many industry and community organizations including: Realtors Political Action Committee; Atlanta Board of Realtors ; Women's Council of Realtors , Atlanta chapter; president of the Kiwanis Club of Alpharetta/John's Creek; and a founding member and past president of the Professional Resource Group.

Prior to joining Southeast Mortgage, Wargo was employed with MetLife Home Loans where he was a president's club recipient in 2004, 2005 and 2009 He attended Temple University and currently resides in Alpharetta, Ga., with his wife of 14 years, Kelly, and their son, Joey.
