SANTEE, CA, April 15, 2011 (Press-News.org) Word Awareness (http://www.wordawareness.com), a small network of professional translators established in California, has just launched a new version of its corporate website. The new attractive web design is provided by SquareSpace, a web-based software that makes web publishing easy.
"SquareSpace was the right option for us because we were looking for an affordable alternative that would yield a professional and ellegant final result", Word Awareness CEO Rafa Lombardino explains. "Our old website had some limitations and a lot of content still had to be coded manually. Besides, we had been unable to fully integrate new advances with the old platform, such as social networking and other customizable sections."
The new platform allows for more dynamic menus organized by theme on the top-right and left-hand sides of the web space. A stylish news feed provided by the official Word Awareness Twitter page and dedicated pages to each member of the translation team are also among other innovations.
"Perhaps the most important functionality of our new website is our Work With Us section," Mrs. Lombardino explains. Translators can now fill in a form to submit their personal information and upload a copy of their resume and translation samples.
"This way, we have a more centralized and organized area to look through the tens of applications we receive each quarter and, should we find a professional that fits our network profile, we can initiate a relationship and expand our team of trusted translators to address client demands," she added.

New York and North Carolina treat all 16 year-olds as adults when it comes to criminal matters.
The trend the past decade has been to increase the age of adulthood. This is a reversal, as throughout the 1980s and 90s states ...

Additionally, no cell phone use is permitted for drivers under age 18, with a few exceptions such as calls to parents and emergency services.
For some legislators, however, these restrictions do not do enough to help combat the estimated 448,000 injuries that occurred nationally ...
