WHY: The event, sponsored by SustainableContentment.com, kicks off September as National Childhood Obesity Awareness Month. This is our commitment to address the issue of childhood obesity; to help the people or communities that have been hardest hit by the childhood obesity epidemic; and to support the Michelle Obama initiative: "Let's Move." This event is intended to increase public awareness and will discuss what families can do about loved ones who are struggling. It will also educate people about the positive effect that treatment and recovery can have on sufferers; and the well being of our communities. It will celebrate people in recovery - and those professionals who help them.
