ATLANTA, GA, April 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) Southeast Mortgage, a full service Georgia mortgage lender and one of the largest non-bank lenders in the Southeast, opened a new office in Fayetteville, Ga., and named Arnold Martin as regional branch manager as of Dec. 1.
The opening of this branch will be the eighth Southeast Mortgage location in Georgia.
"Opening this new branch demonstrates Southeast's commitment to Georgians and our success as a Georgia mortgage lender," said Cal Haupt, president and founder of Southeast Mortgage. "We want to have offices that are readily accessible to our clients across the state, and Fayetteville allows us to be closer to a new clientele. Hiring Arnold to run this office was a simple decision - he is exceptionally talented and has a proven track record of professionalism and expertise in the mortgage arena."
Martin, a mortgage industry veteran of nearly 20 years, will run the new branch located at 101 Devant Street in Fayetteville, Ga. Martin formerly owned Absolute Lending & Mortgage, and he was also a loan officer for Sunshine Mortgage in Smyrna, Ga.
"Joining this team is a fantastic opportunity for me," said Martin. "I am proud to be able to help a company such as Southeast expand throughout the state, and I know the expertise that I bring to the table will help this new office flourish."
Martin attended Morehouse College and received a degree in real estate finance. Martin also served as chairman of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Georgia's Affordable Housing and Fair Lending Committee.
