BROOMFIELD, CO, April 18, 2011 (Press-News.org) Escape Velocity Systems (EVS), a Boulder, Colorado based ERP innovation group is proud to announce today that King's Hawaiian Bakery, the Torrance, California based company and the leading makers of Hawaiian Sweet Bread and top-selling branded dinner rolls, has selected EVS to provide them with the next generation of process manufacturing software designed specifically for today's commercial bakery manufacturers.
The O2 Bakery ERP solution provides King's Hawaiian with a commercial bakery-specific manufacturing system that completely integrates with their existing Sage MAS 500 ERP solution. As King's Hawaiian prepares for a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility to go online, they knew the old way of desperate systems and manual operational planning and reporting systems would no longer work. "We were looking for real-time reporting on a daily basis and wanted to find it all from a central location. O2 Bakery ERP offered that," states Mark Taira, CEO of King's Hawaiian.
During the selection process, King's Hawaiian's main focus was to find a company to help them successfully implement their new ERP system. Taira also remarks, "The EVS team we have working with us is the best team we've ever experienced. EVS' team is project oriented, and they do so much more than just install a system and plug in numbers. We are working together throughout the entire process and EVS will be very instrumental in the success of this project."
