BIRKIRKARA, MALTA, April 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) The third annual Banking Finance & Insurance Expo - "Exploiting Technology to Deliver Customised Financial Services" - took place in Kampala, Uganda at the Main Exhibition Hall Lugogo from 14-16th April.
According to the organisers, the main objective of Banking Finance & Insurance Expo is to unlock the great potential that lies in Uganda's financial sector by giving the public access to financial information.
deVere Group Area Manager for Kampala, Julie Crombie, therefore identified the Expo as the ideal opportunity to raise awareness of the deVere brand which has recently been introduced to the Kampala financial services market and thus, The deVere Group, the world's largest international financial consultancy group, attended the event as exhibitors for the first time.
Julie and her team of Consultants and Coordinators worked tirelessly over the three day Expo to introduce the deVere Group to the thousands of visitors who attended the Expo.
"I believe the Expo was a wonderful opportunity to introduce the deVere brand to investors in Uganda," commented Julie adding that "the opportunities identified by exhibiting at the show will result in increased levels of new business through the Kampala office."
In addition, the organisers of the Expo ran an exit poll of visitors covering their experience, the results of which were announced at the closing cocktail event. The deVere booth and staff were awarded the Organisers Top Award, a prestigious commendation for the HIGHEST STANDARDS OF BOOTH ETIQUETTE reflecting on the exceptional levels of professionalism displayed by the team throughout the show.
Accepting the award, Julie commented: "this is a testimony to deVere Group standards, I believe that we have heightened our clients expectations in this market, and displayed the way forward to many of our fellow exhibitors."
