The publication, which debuted in March, promises to cover a range of women's issues, including topics spanning beauty, career, fashion, health, home, kids, pets, travel, and weddings.
The April 2011 issue features a cover story on the life and career of Michelle Bernstein, local celebrity chef and guest judge on Bravo's "Top Chef." The March launch issue featured Roxanne Stein, anchor for WPTV. Upcoming issues will profile inspiring women in the South Florida community, with features addressing Work-Life Balance, Love and Relationships, Beauty, Education, Arts & Entertainment, Culinary, Fertility, and other must-read topics.
South Florida publisher Karen Alleyne-Means spent the majority of her career as a pharmaceutical sales rep before deciding to launch HERLIFE Magazine. The magazine is dedicated to offering a fresh new communication outlet for smart, sophisticated and savvy women who share a passion for living well, eating healthy, looking fabulous, and appreciating what South Florida has to offer.
"Through HERLIFE Magazine, I have found my voice, and hopefully the voice of local South Florida women," says Alleyne-Means. "This new venture will allow me to offer women in the community a platform to share their lives, stories and inspirations, as well as their fears. We can all learn from each other."
