Empire City Casino Patrons Will Be Showered With Fun Throughout April Including Tax Relief, Comedy Nights, Young At Heart And Tribute Band Concerts
NEW YORK, NY, April 20, 2011
Today (April 18) is the dreaded tax due date, but Empire City Casino at Yonkers Raceway will continue to ease the pain by providing some Tax Relief for lucky patrons on the last two Thursdays of the month, April 21 and April 28.There will be five $500 winners every 30 minutes on both days. For the April 21st drawing patrons can earn entries from now through the date of the promotion. For the April 28th drawing entries can be earned from April 22rd at 10AM to April 28th. Empire Club Members can also redeem 300 existing points for an entry. Participants must be present to win.
Comedy and music will be showered on patrons throughout the month at Empire City.
Live musical performances will be featured every Wednesday afternoon at 12 PM and again at 2PM (April 6, 13, 20, 27) during the "Young at Heart" concert series at the Entertainment Lounge in the Gotham Palace. The Guss Hayes Band has its regular performance on Wednesday, April 20th; and while the Peter Lawrence Orchestra is another mainstay on April 27th.
Tribute bands highlight the music at the Entertainment Lounge. Thursday April 21st will feature Blondes Have More Fun, a Rod Stewart tribute; and Thursday, April 28th will be Bobby & the Jets, an Elton John tribute band.
Comedian Jonny Fisch will be among the top comedians to take the microphone at the popular Empire City Casino at Yonkers Raceway Comedy Nights on Wednesday, April 27. Fisch will be joined by Kevin Downey Jr. and Helen Hong will have the Good Time Room stage. Doors open both nights at 7 p.m., shows begin at 8 p.m., and admission is free for all Empire Club Members. Non-members cover charge is $15.
