Los Angeles, CA, April 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) This Thursday evening, April 21, Immersive Tech (www.immersivetech.org) will host an intimate event in downtown LA's Brewery artist lofts. The evening's focus -- "The Era of Experience," a phrase coined by James McQuivey of Forrester Research - will extend to networking, live experiences, and cocktails... all ImTech-style.
A stellar lineup of technologists, UX and content designers, consumer trend trackers, futurists and artists will ignite discussions fueled by imagination. John Underkoffler, Chief Scientist at Oblong Industries, will receive an "Immy" Award for best interface design. Ishan Shapiro, co-founder of ThinkState, will document the panel conversations and Q&A using concept mapping software, then present insights of the conversation back to the participants. Findings will be published and expanded online via Quora and Immersive Tech's LinkedIn group.
