MIAMI, FL, April 27, 2011 (Press-News.org) Pan American Metals assures clients that gold and silver seem set to continue their meteoric rise amid fears of rising inflation. Gold rose for the ninth consecutive day while the dollar and yen both fell against other major currencies.
Bill Hionas, CEO of Pan American Metals of Miami (PAMOM) says, "There has been some suggestion that the current upward trend in the price of precious metals, and of gold and silver in particular, may be a bubble, or that prices have peaked. Financial reports out of New York today strongly contradict that suggestion; clearly as oil continues to rise and the dollar continues to fall, gold and silver will hold, or continue to increase."
It is anticipated that the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) will hold the benchmark rate at zero or close to zero on April 27, further supporting the values of precious metals. Natural resources and precious metals are widely accepted as a safe harbor for investors when currencies are falling and there are fears of accelerating inflation. Markets on Monday, April 25, showed a small correction early in the day, due to profit-taking and small changes in dollar and oil values but despite this the precious metals market remains extremely strong.
PAMOM offers clients the opportunity to purchase precious metals online; metals can either be delivered to customers or held in a repository for safekeeping. The precious metals brokerage, dealing in gold, silver, platinum and palladium, is currently looking to expand, actively searching experienced investment brokers in order to keep up with client demands.
