New York Law firm Outside Counsel Solutions Announces a Name Change to Schwell Wimpfheimer & Associates

New York law firm, Outside Counsel Solutions LLP announced the firm's name change to Schwell Wimpfheimer & Associates LLP (SWA) to more accurately reflect the firm's core business.

2011-04-28
NEW YORK, NY, April 28, 2011 (Press-News.org) New York law firm, Outside Counsel Solutions LLP announced the firm's name change to Schwell Wimpfheimer & Associates LLP (SWA) to more accurately reflect the firm's core business.

SWA is a full service corporate law firm with over 25 lawyers, headed by managing partners Dov Schwell and Jan S. Wimpfheimer. The firm provides top-quality legal services to clients ranging in size from Fortune 100 businesses to individuals and start-up companies. Most of the firm's lawyers have been qualified for at least 10 years and have previously worked at Am Law 100 firms or leading corporations for at least five years. This experience enables SWA to offer clients highly qualified attorneys in a broad range of disciplines. The firm's rates are considerably lower than those charged by larger U.S. firms because many of its lawyers are based in Israel and the firm's cost structure is therefore much lower.

The firm was founded six years ago by Dov Schwell, a former corporate partner at McDermott Will & Emery, as a legal outsourcing operation. "As the firm has grown and our practice has evolved, we find ourselves predominantly providing traditional corporate legal services and not work that would traditionally be thought of as outsourcing" Schwell explained.

Jan S. Wimpfheimer, a former partner at Herzog, Fox & Neeman in Israel and a former associate at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York added "The vast majority of our clients and work are of the caliber of a quality boutique law firm, and the more traditional style of the new name is more reflective of the dynamic nature of our firm."
