Writing in Style has been a longtime supporter of the United States Postal Service. In 2006, Zimmermann was a featured presenter at the National Postal Forum, alongside Postmaster General, Patrick R. Donahoe.
At the Postal Forum in 2010, Zimmermann had the opportunity to meet with Ellen DeGeneres and Ellen's mother to discuss the Animal Rescue: Adopt a Shelter Pet commemorative postage stamp. Ellen DeGeneres introduced the commemorative stamps to the public on her television show to bring greater awareness to the cause.
Earlier this year, Zimmermann had the opportunity to connect with the Postmaster General, Patrick R. Donahoe at the Greeting Card Convention in New York, to discuss the United States Postal Service Reform
