BOISE, ID, April 29, 2011 (Press-News.org) On Thursday April 28th Tribute Media, a Meridian based web consulting firm, will host a free workshop called "Using Social Media to Drive New Business." The workshop which will take place in the Ground Floor facility below Tribute Media's offices will educate professionals on how to set up and start managing social media for their business. This will be the company's final free workshop and will be followed by a series of small workshops, which will focus on a more in depth coverage of web marketing.

The workshop will provide hands-on instruction on how to use social media for your business including setting up accounts, getting started and tips to manage them. The workshop will cover the three social media platforms most commonly used for business: Google Places, Twitter, and Facebook. The workshop is only available to the first 50 people that sign up and guests are encouraged to bring a laptop to follow along with the step-by-step instruction.
