Warner Norcross Attorney, Staff Receive NALS Awards

GRAND RAPIDS, MI, April 29, 2011

An attorney and two staff members from the law firm of Warner Norcross & Judd LLP have received awards from NALS of West Michigan, an association for legal professionals.

Attorney Jeff Power received the Legal Professional of the Year Award. Power, who concentrates his practice in trusts and estates law, was recognized for his strong support for NALS and its members, along with a commitment to the legal profession and to civic and charitable activities.

Rebecca Quimby, a legal secretary at Warner Norcross, received the organization's first Lifetime Achievement Award. Quimby, an active member and former officer of NALS, was honored for her continual support of and service to NALS.

Diane Chiles, the firm's client intake specialist, received the Award of Excellence. The award, which is open to any NALS member with five or more years of legal experience, is the chapter's highest honor and presented to recognize hard work and dedication - both to NALS and to the employer. Nominees are evaluated on their skills and experience in the legal field, participation in NALS, other activities, interests and volunteer works.
