MILAN, ITALY, April 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) Italy's biggest heavy metal festival is set to take place near Milan on Wednesday June 22nd.
Gods of Metal has been held annually at locations across the country since 1997 and will welcome the likes of Judas Priest, Whitesnake and Cradle of Filth for its latest edition this summer.
With acts such as Mr Big, Europe, The Cavalera Conspiracy and Duff McKagan's Loaded also on the bill, the event promises to deliver a memorable day of headbanging for metal fans.
Judas Priest have been one of the biggest names in English heavy metal since the 1970s, while Whitesnake are known for hard rock hits such as Here I Go Again and Is This Love.
The venue for Gods of Metal is the main arena at the FieraMilano, a conference centre located in the town of Rho on the outskirts of Milan.
Tickets for the festival can be purchased online, priced at EUR60 (GBP53.30) plus booking fee.
Previous editions of Gods of Metal have seen performances from the likes of Motorhead, Fear Factory, Slipknot, Motley Crue and Soulfly.
