GammaTech to Display Rugged Notebook at 2011 Joint Warfighting Conference

The event, "How Do We Leverage Successes of Joint & Coalition Warfare?" will take place at the Virginia Beach Convention Center in Virginia Beach, VA from May 10 to May 12, 2011.

The three models to be shown are built to Military Standards for drop, shock, spill, and dust protection. • The U12C is the perfect companion for mobile power users on the go. The U12C features a 12.1" WXGA Touch Screen TFT LED backlight display which quickly converts into a Tablet PC. This lightweight powerhouse is encased in magnesium and has been tested to MIL-STD-810G standards for drop, shock, and spill protection. And all of the unit's I/O ports are covered to protect from the hazards of dirt and dust. The unit is powered by the Intel i5 processor to maximize speed and data management. • The S15C rugged notebook comes equipped with the computing power and performance needed by the most demanding user and is designed with rugged features to protect the system from damage in the toughest working environments. The S15C comes with a brilliant 15.6" HD display and is powered by the Intel i5 and i7 CPU platform. Standard features include an RS232 Serial port, TPM 1.2 data security and a Smart Card Reader. System options include a Bluetooth 2.1 module and a 1.3 mega pixel webcam. The S15C is encased in magnesium alloy to protect the unit's vital components and is tested to MIL-STD 810G specification for drop, shock and spill protection to insure the systems reliability in the field. • The D14RM is drop, shock, spill and dust resistant and is designed for mobile road warriors who need functionality and durability. The D14RM is powered by Intel Montevina technology, providing performance boost. The D14RM features a 14.1" WXGA display and a LED illuminated keyboard. Standard features in the D14RM include a smart card reader, fingerprint scanner, TPM 1.2 technology, 4 USB ports and an HDMI port.
