BALTIMORE, April 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) MJM Innovations, a firm specializing in electronic transaction software solutions and management services for the transportation industry, announced today that it was chosen by Central Maryland Regional Transit (CMRT) to develop the Transportation Resource Information Point (TRIP), a website that will serve as a centralized database for state-wide public and private transit information. MJM Innovations won the TRIP project through a competitive request for proposal (RFP) process to develop and maintain both the database and the website.
TRIP (www.mdtrip.org) officially launched on April 20, 2011 and now serves as a "one-stop shop" for Maryland residents seeking transportation information throughout the major Baltimore metropolitan area, including Annapolis and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford and Howard Counties. MJM Innovations created the technology that aggregates the information from each of these organizations to comprise the TRIP website and database and worked with marketing, advertising and public relations firm Devaney & Associates to design the website. Now that TRIP is live, MJM will continue to host and maintain the website.
"At MJM Innovations, in addition to building and implementing transaction and web-based software, we also specialize in developing and creating customized websites and databases for our clients, and we have utilized that expertise to ensure that TRIP became the most comprehensive transportation information website in our area," said Stephanie Clayville, Project Manager, MJM Innovations. "We are happy to expand our services within the transportation industry to provide TRIP as a service to Maryland commuters, who are now able to find their local transportation options faster and easier in one convenient site."
"Collaborating with MJM in this process has been a very smooth and gratifying experience," said Michael Owino, JARC Mobility Manager, CMRT. "Everyone who I have dealt with has been a consummate professional and I have been especially impressed by the turnaround time in making requested changes, abiding by our agreed-upon timeline and consistently turning over high-quality deliverables. I look forward to our continued relationship with MJM."
