Quarter Mania Brings Draws Big Crowd
Crysti Sheldon of Pink Ladies Enterprises, Inc., launches Quarter Mania in Phoenix and raises money for Donate Life Arizona.
PHOENIX, AZ, April 30, 2011
The rising popularity of the multi-vendor expos, and the economy of late, are two largely contributing factors to the success of the Quarter Mania hosted in the Phoenix area by Crysti Sheldon, owner of Pink Ladies Enterprises, Inc. and independent representative for Brown Bag Party. The Quarter Mania, Sheldon states, is a hybrid cross between an auction, raffle, home party, expo and Girls Night Out. Each vendor provides three or four items from their popular product line, or highly sought specialized service, and the bidding starts at only a quarter.
On March 26, more than 130 ladies flooded the Windmill Inn and Suites where they were greeted with 18 vendors from home party plans, crafters and specialized services. At the event, each guest is given a paddle and if they wish to bid on an item they simply place a quarter on the table. If their paddle number is drawn, they win the item. More than 90 items were donated, Sheldon recalls, and the winner walks away with a valuable retail price item or service for mere coins.
Sheldon, having built a very lucrative career with Brown Bag Party, uses the versatility of the companyEUR s product line which specializes in spa, massage, lingerie, and romantic products to market her business to every consumer. The popularity of the romance home party contributed to the eagerness of other vendors to join SheldonEUR s event.
The auction raised monies for Donate Life Arizona. Sheldon is passionate about raising awareness for organ donation and in two short hours was pleased to raise $97.
