According to the experts from acneclearing.org, there is not one single way to find out the causes for adult acne because there is a blend of reasons. So you should treat it differently, depending on your specific condition.Saturnino Ernst, a consultant with acneclearing.org, says, "The process of the development of a pimple or whitehead can be tracked back in this manner. Looking from the end to the beginning, the pimple is formed due to the accumulation of white blood cells and bacteria which are dead because they fight with each other.
"The fight between the white blood cells and bacteria starts when the body finds there are some harmful bacteria within the pores and sends the blood cells down to the affected areas.
"The bacteria grow due to the gathering of pollutants including the sebum oil and dirt in the hair follicles. They will not appear if the pollutants can get out of the skin. But due to the clogging of the pores, it's impossible for them to get out of our body system.
But how do the pores get clogged in the first place anyway? Mr. Ernst says that it is caused by the over-productivity of sebaceous glands which produce sebum oil. Scientists say the function of the sebum oil is still not clear to them. In other words, they don't have much positive function. But when excess of such a substance is generated, it will cause problems such as blocking the pores if it meets with the dead skin cells on the surface of our skin.
"The pores are blocked because of the excessive sebum oil and dead skin cells. The latter is supposed to be eliminated by our body system if it works normally. But due to health problems, the dead skin which is not exfoliated effectively becomes very sticky when combined with the sebum oil. The pores thus are clogged.
"Hormonal imbalance can cause the sebaceous glands to generate excess sebum oil. And hereditary as well as dietary factors can cause health problems.
Mr. Ernst says that there is a certain kind of pattern in which the adult acne, including the acne on your back, with one specific case behaves. So give yourself sometime and find it out. Then you will be able to know how to prevent further acne breakouts in the future.
