They also tend to be focussed around the concept of a web security gateway - that means they're designed for IT people to use and designed to block access rather than collect and process evidence to a forensic standard.
The people who should be using these tools are HR and line management, but the investigation usually falls to the IT department - who have far better things to do with their time than review lengthy log files.
