The Unbelievable Story of "Inconceivable" on The Surrogacy Lawyer Radio Show
2011-05-05
SAN DIEGO, CA, May 05, 2011 (Press-News.org) Carolyn and Sean Savage had been trying to expand their family for years. When they underwent an IVF transfer in February 2009, they knew it would be their last chance. If they became pregnant, they would celebrate the baby as an answer to their prayers. If not, they would be grateful for the family they had and leave their fertility struggles behind forever.

They never imagined a third option. The pregnancy test was positive, but the clinic had transferred the wrong embryos. Carolyn was pregnant with someone else's baby.

On the next episode of The Surrogacy Lawyer: Your Guide to IVF and Third Party Family Building, Theresa Erickson, Esq., will be interviewing Carolyn Savage about this life-altering experience, how it tested her and her husband's faith and marriage and what motivated them to write Inconceivable, their account of this unimaginable ordeal. The program will air on Thursday, May 5 at 11AM PST/2PM EST on Voice America.

Carolyn and Sean Savage live in Toledo, Ohio, with their children, Drew, Ryan and Mary Kate. Sean is a financial planner and Carolyn was an elementary school principal, but now devotes her time to raising her children.

"Carolyn and Sean Savage were faced with making an impossible decision that no couple undergoing infertility treatment should ever have to endure," says attorney Erickson. "But the grace and dignity with which they handled this unbelievable challenge is truly inspirational and a testament to the human spirit. I look forward to discussing their book, the many ways it irrevocably changed them and the rest of their family, and the exciting news of the impending birth of their twins via surrogacy."
