MINSK, BELARUS, May 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) April 29th, 2011 ScienceSoft Inc. took part in the 2-day conference for mobile technologies specialists held in Minsk, Belarus.
ScienceSoft iOS expert Alexey Starovoitov made a presentation on a much discussed trend of Augmented Reality (AR). The presentation gave a historical overview of the Augmented Reality and explained the term itself which was coined in 1992. It featured the AR classification, modern tendencies in the development of the technology as well as its application in various business domains, such as life sciences, education, media and entertainment. ScienceSoft representative also shared the company's view on the future of Augmented Reality and their experience in the development of GEO location apps.
The topic inspired a number of questions from the audience and media. In his interview to the Belarus largest online news portal tut.by Ulad Radkevitch, ScienceSoft VP marketing, sales and business development, gave some examples on how Augmented Reality applications could be used in Belarus and told about the company's future development.
