HOUSTON, TX, May 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) Master Remodelers, a kitchen & bath remodeler based in Houston, was founded in 1972 by Jim Thompson. They are full-service remodeling & repairing contractors, with expertise in the areas of bathroom remodel, painting, roofing, siding, windows, flooring, and concrete foundation repair.
When Jim first began working in the home improvement industry, he had no idea that he would own his own custom home renovation business one day. Fresh out of high school, he seemed to have been in the right place, at the right time.
"I actually started this company by accident", Jim says. "I was spending the summer in NYC with a friend, and his landlord needed someone to paint one of the apartments. My friend was unavailable, so I volunteered to take his place. The next thing I knew, they asked me if I could paint another apartment...then another one." Now it's been almost 40 years, and the rest, as they say, is history.
Master Remodelers won the "Best of Houston" award, given by the US Local Business Association, for 2008, 2009, and 2010 in the Remodeling & Repairing Contractors category. This should come as no surprise, being that Master Remodelers is A-rated with the BBB and the owner, Jim Thompson, is constantly working to keep his skills sharp.
Jim is currently a Certified Kitchen Designer, and can offer kitchen design services, planning, and installation of custom countertops and cabinets. Master Remodelers is one of the best kitchen & bath remodelers that Houston has to offer.
Master Remodelers is proud to be serving the Greater Houston area, with over 38 years of service since 1972. We specialize in kitchen & bathroom remodeling, custom home renovation, and concrete foundation repair.
