Homes in this latest phase offer larger backyards and a $10,000 Brookfield Homes credit toward closing costs.

2011-05-08
SAN DIEGO, CA, May 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) On Saturday, May 7, Brookfield Homes will release six new homes at its Trellis community at Windingwalk in Chula Vista.

Homes in this latest phase offer larger backyards and a $10,000 Brookfield Homes credit toward closing costs. Features include granite kitchen countertops, stainless steel appliances, air conditioning and built-in security systems, as well as front-yard landscaping. Views of a nearby preserve accompany some of the new lots as well. Prices begin at $453,900.

Also available in this phase is the popular 3X floor plan, which was previously sold out after such high demand. This floor plan includes five bedrooms and three full baths.

Located in Brookfield's Windingwalk community, Trellis offers single-family detached homes with four two-story floor plans ranging from approximately 2,361 to 2,620 square feet. Architectural styling articulates Spanish, Craftsman and California Cottage elements.

To make these new Trellis homes even more affordable for buyers, Brookfield Homes is continuing to pay off a portion of the Mello-Roos rate, reducing it to 1.67% on average, saving buyers approximately $18,000.

For additional details about Trellis at Windingwalk in Chula Vista, visit the model homes at 2346 Trellis St. in Chula Vista, or call 888-520-3599.

Residents at Trellis have access to three significant community gathering places, including the resort-style $5 million Winding Oaks Recreation Center, the $3 million Winding Trails Recreation Center and the centrally located Windingwalk Park, which offers basketball and tennis courts, a skate park, softball field, picnic and barbeque areas and restrooms.
