Gina Pera is a lecturer, author, and prize-winning print journalist. For the last ten years and drawing on her personal experience, she has been researching, writing, and lecturing on the impact of ADHD on sex and intimacy. She is known for her stalwart advocacy for better awareness and evidence-based treatment standards for ADHD. She is a popular speaker on the topic and provides education and support for the ADHD community through an Internet-based member group for partners of adults with ADHD around the world. For her work with USA Weekend magazine, she earned the prestigious Best Magazine Edition award from the Association for Women in Communications and the Unity Award in Media from Lincoln University of Missouri in recognition of her accurate exposure of issues affecting minorities and disabled persons.
