GRANDVILLE, MI, May 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) UK singer songwriter Dogman, has been making music for years but May 2011 see the release of his first full length solo album.
Christened 'Dogman' by UK indie rock band, Starsailor over 10 years ago, the name has since stuck. The UK folk singer's musical roller coaster began in the 1970's when he formed an acoustic band named Ulysses. Since then Dogman has embarked on various musical projects and journeys and now believes he has finally found his true voice, creating acoustic style folk songs that have real depth.
The resemblance to Neil Young is undeniable and whilst influenced by the folk rock and country King, Dogman's music stands on its own two feet.
Dogman's side project 'The Crossbreed' with Japan-based producer 'Mikans' takes Dogman's songs and combines them with ambient electronica to create instrumental soundscapes in a series of powerful remixes.
Dogman's brand new album 'The Cat that solved the String Theory' is a collection of 11 tracks including 'Spitfire', a tale of a love affair between a Spitfire and an ME109 and 'It's a Love Thing' a track that has had a huge response on Soundcloud.
'The Cat that solved the String Theory' by UK singer songwriter Dogman is available from iTunes from 13/05/11. For more information, videos, to stream the album in full visit http://www.expat-records.com/dogman/music.php
