LOGAN, UT, May 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) Graduates from Stevens-Henager College will don caps and gowns this coming Friday, May 13, to receive their college diplomas. The graduates join the thousands of alumni who have received career training from Stevens-Henager through degree programs in healthcare, information technology, business and graphic arts.
The program will commence with a special keynote address from Senator Jake Garn.
Stevens-Henager has experienced a steady increase in enrollment as more Americans return to school. The number of Stevens-Henager graduates is expected to grow as well, as more students seek to further their careers by getting degrees from accredited institutions. This year's graduating class has 75 students.
"I am immensely proud of this graduating class. We have graduates who are moms and dads, those who balanced earning their degree with maintaining a job and some who hadn't considered college as a part of their plan until they found Stevens-Henager," explains Sharla Lemon, campus director of Stevens-Henager, Logan. "As they take the next step, our graduates will be able to leverage their college degree and take a step toward a better life and career."
