Sandy Puc's If It Moves, Shoot It Photography Workshop Featuring Jared Abrams Flies Into Atlanta

Seminar addresses how to utilize and benefit from the cutting-edge video capabilities of DSLR cameras for photography professionals

2011-05-13
ATLANTA, GA, May 13, 2011 (Press-News.org) Prominent photographer Sandy Puc' and expert cinematographer Jared Abrams have teamed up to bring the innovative If It Moves, Shoot It: Merging Motion and Stills tour this May to over 15 cities in the United States. Kicking off in Denver on May 10, this is the second educational photography seminar for Sandy Puc' this year. The If It Moves, Shoot It tour aims to pave the way for the future of at-your-fingertips video technology by informing photographers of all skill levels on the powerful video capability featured on the popular DSLR cameras.

With digital video shooting now a common feature on many DSLR cameras, Puc' and Abrams are excited to share their expertise in a comfortable, hands-on approach. Abrams is highly skilled in both still and moving photography and is a leader in this growing industry. By the end of the seminar, photographers will be able to shoot, edit and produce an array of videos with a variety of DSLRs.

"I really enjoyed my first of many live seminars with Sandy! I walked away inspired to reach higher and work smarter, not harder," says Christy Jenkins, of Jefferson, Indiana, after Sandy Puc's Power of Passion tour rapped up earlier this spring. Puc' devotes every ounce of energy she has to making learning fun and effective in hopes that attendees leave the show with the smarts and confidence to achieve their goals.

If It Moves, Shoot It promises to be a fully interactive seminar that will teach how to merge video and stills together to create never-before-seen products that will doubtlessly excite clients. Amongst the many lessons and tools that will be shared are a comprehensive tutorial on DSLR video functions and a breakdown of video shooting techniques and principles, including frame rate, focusing, tripod use, sound, workflow and more.

"For me education is a life-long endeavor. Life as we know it is constantly changing, improving, being fine-tuned. What once was available to a select few is becoming mainstream. I am grateful to be a part of this new video movement and for Jared Abrams to share his extensive knowledge so that photographers can affordably learn about new techniques and have the necessary tools to be successful in their craft," Puc' says of her upcoming tour.
