Universal Geocoding Solution For The Entire World

May 16, 2011, Toronto, Canada, NAC Geographic Products Inc. announced the release of Universal Geocoding Solution for the Entire World as part of NAC Real-Time Geo-Services Suite.

2011-05-14
TORONTO, ON, May 14, 2011 (Press-News.org) NAC Geographic Products Inc. (http://www.nacgeo.com) announced the release of Universal Geocoding Solution (http://nacgeo.com/nacconversion.asp) for the Entire World as part of NAC Real-Time Geo-Services Suite (http://www.nacgeo.com/geoservices.asp). With the subscription of the suite, web applications now can obtain the geocode of every location on the planet, no matter whether the location has street address or not, thanks to the power of the Universal Address (http://www.nacgeo.com/nacsite/).

Currently, all geocoding solutions on the market can only geocode addresses of a very small fraction of countries in the world. The mojority of the countries either haven't had address systems yet or haven't had complete address databases, not to mention rural cottages and camping sites. All these locations remain ungeocoded. Even in the industrialized countries, geocoding frequently results in errors due to duplicated addresses, outdated addresses, non-standard addresses and missing addresses. All these make 99% of locations in the world unable to get postal services, courier and delivery services, taxi services, and emrgency services and cause huge unnecessary loss of precious time, money, properties and even lives.

Now the Universal Geocoding Solution solves the problem for all web applications which need geocodes of locations for goods delivering, rescueing, real estate listing or marketing thanks to the two frontier technologies: GPS which makes the location anywhere in the world accurately measured and the Universal Address which makes the representation of any accurate location human rememberable. Everybody in the world can easily obtain their Universal Address either with their GPS smartphone or from online high resolution satellite image maps such as NAC Locator (http://nactag.info), remember the Universal Address as part of their address and use it for all applications which need the location. The Universal Address can be used to replace the street address for all location based services and make the services more efficient (save 80% of input time), language independent (avoid inputting difficult foreign scripts), reliable (eliminate errors from wrong addresses, duplicated addresses, outdated addresses, non-standard addresses and missing addresses) and complete (extend location based services to all locations in the world no matter whether they are in urban areas, rural areas, forests, deserts, lakes or even oceans). The Universal Address is a digital address for the entire world and therefore, has become a fashion for the digital and globalized era. For example, instead of 10 Downing Street, London, United Kingdom, you can just use NAC: GZND RKHG (http://nactag.info/default.asp?addr=GZND RKHG) to get to the British Prime Minister's Office.

Then all the problems of geocoding can be avoided. Web applications no longer need to geocode any street addresses, but simply add a new field called NAC (i.e. Universal Address) on a web form to let the user to input the Universal Address of their location - the most useful geocode in the world no matter whether it is their house or a temperary campsite. If the user does not know their Universal Address yet, they can instantly obtain it on NAC Locator (http://nactag.info/default.asp?explain=yes) if the label is a hyperlink to this page. How simple it is!

"Since the Universal Geocoding Solution does not use address databases," said Xinhang Shen, president of NAC Geographic Products Inc., "therefore, it does not have the problems of database based geocoding solutions caused by typos, outdated data, duplicated matches and missing addresses and makes geocoding less expensive, more reliable and geographic coverage complete."

Specializing in geo-technologies, software and web development and geo-services, NAC Geographic Products Inc. is a world's leading company in geographic technologies and geo-services. In addition to the Natural Area Coding System, the company has developed many important GIS/GPS software products and provides real-time geo-services (geocoding, reverse-geocoding, mapping, routing, etc.) for web applications and wireless location based services for consumers as well as consulting services.

Pressure Sensors Constructed for Sub-sea Level Measurement

2011-05-14
Typically an ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) is lowered into the ocean with a pressure port either installed inside an enclosure or completely exposed to the sea water. As the ROV is submerged, water pressure is exerted on the diaphragm of a pressure sensor. The deeper the system is submerged, the higher the pressure. By calculating salt water density at 1.025 (or 2.5% more dense than fresh water at 4°C) a correlation between pressure and output signal can be made to measure equipment depth. For example, when a pressure sensor is packaged with a pressure range of 0-5075 ...
