Miles For Hope Supporters Go The Extra Mile in Support of Brain Tumor Research
Supporters Find Ways to Raise Awareness and Funds For Brain Tumor Research
CLEARWATER, FL, May 14, 2011
Miles For Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for brain tumor research, uses the help of its supporters to host fundraising events throughout the country."We are grateful for what our supporters do to help us find a cure for brain tumors," said Bob Gibbs, Founder of Miles For Hope and a seven-year brain cancer survivor. "Their efforts will advance our mission in finding safe and effective treatments that are available to all brain cancer patients." Gibbs said he would like to make individual fundraising events (IFEs) a stronger part of the organization's fundraising strategy as a way to increase awareness and funding for brain tumors.
Supporters, like Jennifer and Eric Gillett, will represent Miles For Hope in the Hudson Crossing Triathlon in Schuylerville, NY on June 13. Other fundraisers include the Fashion For Hope show in Clearwater, FL on September 17th of this year and Tiara's Walk in Jeffersonville, IN on May 19th, 2012
