SAN FRANCISCO, CA, May 18, 2011 (Press-News.org) First To File (FTF), the world's leading IP document management company, today announced the introduction of Electronic File Room (EFR) for Trademarks (EFR-TM), a SaaS-based trademark document management solution. The new product complements FTF's existing EFR for Patents patent document management solution. More information about FTF and its patent and trademark document management solutions is available at http://www.firsttofile.com.
EFR-TM centralizes the storage of all documents related to the prosecution and maintenance of trademarks for jurisdictions around the world, enabling rapid access, sharing, and ease of management. The product integrates seamlessly with customers' existing docketing solutions and with an increasing number of global trademark offices.
Featuring a graphical and composite display for easy organization and management of visual marks, EFR-TM also consolidates and intelligently displays search results from trademark databases around the globe, such as WIPO's ROMARIN (Read-Only-Memory of Madrid Active Registry INformation) and the USPTO's TESS (the Trademark Electronic Search System) and TARR (the Trademark Applications and Registration Retrieval system). EFR-TM also manages and automates associations between trademarks and the user's Internet domains, products, and patents.
EFR for Trademarks works with FTF's robust workflow management and agent access modules, and can be purchased in combination with, or separately from, EFR for Patents.
Separately, the company announced today that it has closed a $2 million Series B venture capital financing. The announcement is available at http://www.firsttofile.com/?cat=9.
"With the introduction of EFR for Trademarks, First To File is leveraging its accumulated IP document management expertise to meet the challenges faced by today's trademark practitioners," said James Bergeron, chief executive officer, First To File. "Together with our Workflow Management Module and Agent Access Portal, our EFR solutions are the best choice for organizations seeking an intelligent approach to intellectual property prosecution and management."
