GREENBRAE, CA, September 15, 2010 (Press-News.org) Lizellen La Follette, MD, has announced that her obstetrics and gynecology medical practice will heighten its patient services through the addition of an associate, Emily E. Binkley, MD. The La Follette practice provides healthcare to women of all ages.
Dr. Binkley graduated from Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, with a BA in Earth and Planetary Sciences. A John Harvard Scholar for maintaining an A average, Dr. Binkley studied medicine at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Nashville, Tennessee. She completed her residency at Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident and delivered more than 700 babies over a four-year period. Dr. Binkley also served as a visiting resident in Blackfeet Community Hospital in Browning, Montana. Her gynecologic training included advanced laparoscopy (including robotics) and hysteroscopy while working with gynecologic oncologists, urogynecologists and infertility specialists.
Lizellen La Follette, MD, is a practice that works collaboratively with a wide range of healthcare providers to enhance the childbirth experience and offer clarity to patients about physical events as they progress through life. The La Follette team of providers is dedicated to helping women of all ages greet health opportunities and challenges with the most current information possible. The two physicians work closely with two certified nurse midwives, Jeanne Marie Crowe and Lisa dela Fuente, to shape a supportive, hands-on approach to patients giving birth, and they help women understand and manage the stages of life from puberty, through menopause, and beyond.
