LateRooms.com - Jerry Seinfeld to Play London's O2

The star of Seinfeld will be on stage on June 3rd.

2011-05-20
LONDON, ENGLAND, May 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) The O2 in London will host a special performance by acclaimed US comic Jerry Seinfeld next month.

Taking the stage on Friday June 3rd, the former star of Seinfeld is sure to entice legions of fans to the capital for the show, which is his first date in the UK in over a decade.

While the comedian is doing an extensive tour of his home country, the performance at the O2 is the only available option in the UK this year.

He is widely revered for the eponymous TV series Seinfeld, which he wrote alongside fellow comedy legend Larry David.

The programme was a break from the norm when it came out, essentially focused on the most mundane details of life, but a cast including Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Michael Richards and Jason Alexander made it one of the most successful sitcoms of all time.

Episodes often started or finished with Seinfeld doing a stand-up performance.

His show at the O2 begins at 20:00 BST, with doors opening at 19:00. Tickets range from GBP75 up to GBP100 plus booking fees.

LateRooms.com offers fans a vast selection of London hotels, including the Astor Court Hotel London.
