FORT WORTH, TX, May 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) To go along with a new look and decor on the inside, The Eatery is getting a new look online.
"The Eatery's web site has gotten a total makeover to help us connect better with regulars and with people who have not come in for a visit yet," said co-owner Cindy Gifford.
The new site lists daily specials like Chicken and made-from-scratch Dumplings on Mondays and has a chef's corner blog for Don Gifford to share delicious recipes and some of the ways he mixes flavors to create savory lunch and dinner appetizers, entrees and desserts.
The web site also features a new logo that the restaurant had designed using a crowd sourcing site called 99designs. "The new logo is bold and fun like our food and reminds patrons that they are welcome to bring a favorite wine or alcoholic beverage to pair with their meal," said Chef Don Gifford.
The site also makes it easy for patrons to connect with the restaurant on Twitter, Facebook, or YouTube and to post their own reviews on sites like Urban Spoon or even to get some of the chef's favorite recipes.
The web site redesign was done by Allen Craig of Mr. Mission Possible, a Fort Worth-based small business growth consultant. "The new site is easier to navigate, makes restaurant hours and specials easier to find and gives the restaurant's fans an easy way to tell friends about The Eatery on Facebook or on other social networking sites. The recommendation of a trusted friend is as good as it gets as far as online endorsements," said Craig.
The Eatery is located at 3257 N. Beach St. in Fort Worth and is open weekdays from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. For more information, call 682-647-0606 or visit www.gototheeatery.com.
