Swiss Cleanwater Group Donates Water Treatment System to "Water Forever" Project

Swiss Cleanwater Group has donated one of its' unique water treatment machines to Agua Para Siempre, winner of the Inicitiva Mexico. The donation has been established in cooperation with Raúl Hernández Garciadiego, Director of Grupo Alternativas.

2011-05-26
SAN DIEGO, CA, May 26, 2011 (Press-News.org) Swiss Cleanwater Group have donated a water treatment machine to the local community in the Mixteca of Puebla, Mexico, capable of providing 24.000 liters of clean, healthy, chemical-free drinking water per day. The donation has been made possible by a partnership with Raúl Hernández Garciadiego, Director of Grupo Alternativas, winner of the first edition of the national contest Iniciativa Mexico for his project "Agua para Siempre" (Water Forever). The Swiss Cleanwater Machine (SCM) will be installed at the Museum of Water located in Valley of Tehuacán, Puebla in Mexico.

Raúl Hernández Garciadiego's project "Agua para Siempre" aims to provide safe water to households in the region, in turn improving their quality of life. Raúl has dedicated his life to helping marginalized, indigenous communities and people in the states of Puebla and Oaxaca in Mexico. His efforts and passion has resulted in a union between a company with a water treatment solution that will be able to solve many of the water troubles experienced in the region, and the communities that need clean water the most.

The donation was therefore made possible by the Swiss Cleanwater Group and Erich Sager, who after having learned of the project, did not hesitate to help and therefore donated one of our machines to Raúl Hernández Garciadiego's project and the local community. This donation also resonates with the philosophy of the Swiss Cleanwater Group, who wants to spread its technology to help those who are desperately in need of water treatment. The SCM is built on one of the latest technologies for treating water, using no chemicals and very little electricity, which makes for a perfect match for small communities.

Swiss Cleanwater Group is therefore very proud to be able to announce the delivery and installation of one of its machines for Raúl Hernández Garciadiego, and "Agua para Siempre". We are confident that the families living in the communities will benefit tremendously from having access to clean water for many years to come.

At Swiss Cleanwater Group, we restore water in a sustainable manner because we care for people's health and the environment that we live in. We strongly believe that everyone on our planet should have access to clean, healthy, and chemical-free drinking water without effecting future generations.

With our patented water treatment technology, we are able to turn polluted water into high quality drinking water. Our technology does not use chemicals, does not waste input water, and only uses the equivalent of two 75W light bulbs to function; leaving you with a lower amount of carbon emissions compared to other technologies.

Our Swiss Cleanwater Machines are part of the solution to the increasing demands on drinkable water by the world's growing population.
