Medication Guide App iPharmacy Comes To The Android Marketplace

#1 Medical App of Apple Store Comes to The Android Market to Offer Information About Over 20,000 Drugs

SAN JOSE, CA, June 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) Sigma Phone LLC announces the release of its popular and informative iPhone app, iPharmacy, in the form of iPharmacy -- Pill Identifier and Rx Reference to the Android Market. Now Android-device owners can get the in-depth medical prescription-guide with information about over 20,000 different pills. Along with information about individual pills, iPharmacy offers users the ability to identify over 80,000 packages; and includes 12,000 pill and package images.

All the drug information in the app comes straight from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Using iPharmacy users can search drugs by trade-names and ingredients; learn the correct dosage of a particular drug; the possible adverse reactions of taking the drug; precautions and warnings of the intake; and many other bits of information.

The app even allows those in the medical field to e-mail recipients all the info available in the guides. There is also a section for taking notes and being able to copy and paste information to other apps or documents.
