CALGARY, AB, June 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) Western Canada's Largest Facility for Dogs Calls Calgary Home
Calgary dogs barked and BowDog answered. Looking for qualified, fun and safe pet care for pampered pooches can be a challenge in Calgary. Offering Calgary's largest open concept boarding facility for dogs, the size of the space dedicated to all day fun, health and socialization alone speaks volumes.
When touring the facility you first enter the BowDog Shop, where you check in and out for all services with the opportunity to shop and spoil Fido with healthy food, delicious treats and posh accessories and toys. Start your tour here with their friendly and knowledgeable staff where you can discuss canine nutrition and healthy options for your pet while in the care of BowDog.
From the Shop, enter Calgary's only indoor off leash park, all whopping 8,000 square feet of it. A large open, clean space reserved for weekend and evening play for dogs that regularly use the services of BowDog "stay and play" supervising your dog with his weekday playmates! You don't have to miss out on ALL the fun! The indoor off leash park is also used for dog training at BowDog. Whether you've got a fresh pup, recent rescue or old dog in need of new tricks there is a class for you. With classes starting every two weeks, there is something for everyone to ensure the best bond possible between you and your best friend.
Before you leave the off leash and training arena, take a look at the 15,000 square foot private, outdoor dog park. While in their care, your dog gets to come and go with his pack of friends playing inside and outside. You don't have to worry about your dog having problems with house training upon going home, your dog is allowed plenty of time outside for fresh air, bathroom breaks and fun on the outdoor play equipment and pools.
Reserved for the daycare and boarding clients is the most impressive part of the facility. Separated into three supervised play groups dogs practice agility, training, recall and socialization. Throughout the day, dogs are walked on leash around the local Calgary neighbourhood in groups. Treadmills are in constant operation encouraging confidence and focus in the daycare and boarding dogs. In the lounge dedicated to the daycare's senior and quiet dog, older family members are able to relax and supervise BowDog staff while they do laundry and prepare meals for daycare and boarding dogs throughout the day. Daycare and boarding dogs are allowed a one hour nap time with snacks before settling in for a rest before the fun starts up again.
Before picking your dog up from this Calgary kennel, make sure you reserve a grooming appointment to take home a tired and clean dog.
With fully licensed and qualified groomers, leave the details to us and never worry about whether or not you'll recognize your own dog after a day of grooming. At BowDog, they all look great!
After returning home, don't forget that the fun with BowDog doesn't stop when you leave the kennel. Returning to work for long hours after you've been on holiday? Why not schedule dog walking with one of BowDog's experienced and
confident pack leaders?
