Before you leave the off leash and training arena, take a look at the 15,000 square foot private, outdoor dog park. Reserved for the daycare and boarding clients is the most impressive part of the facility. Separated into three supervised play groups dogs practice agility, training, recall and socialization. Throughout the day, dogs are walked on leash around the local Calgary neighbourhood in groups. Treadmills are in constant operation encouraging confidence and focus in the daycare and boarding dogs. In the lounge dedicated to the daycare's senior and quiet dog, older family members are able to relax and supervise BowDog staff while they do laundry and prepare meals for daycare and boarding dogs throughout the day. Daycare and boarding dogs are allowed a one hour nap time with snacks before settling in for a rest before the fun starts up again.
