HOLLYWOOD, CA, June 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) With the theme IndieBrazil 2011, The Hollywood Brazilian Film Festival presented by LG Brazil will showcase selected feature and short films by up and coming Brazilian filmmakers. Fernanda Montenegro received a leading actress Academy Award Nomination for her work in Central Station, and will make a rare visit to the USA for this special occasion. The evening also showcases the West Coast Premiere of the feature film RISCADO (Craft) and the short film RECIFE FRIO (Cold Tropics).

They are totally universal in their approach to the audience, miles away from any cliches we all know too well. Every feature, short, doc, and narrative moving image, captured in a myriad of formats, represents the newest crop of filmmaking flourishing in Brazil in the last few years. Several
