HSBCAMPS & Eastbay Give Donors An Added Bang For Their Buck

Make A Donation To Charity & Get Quality Apparel In Return

2011-06-01
KETCHUM, June 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) HSBCAMPS (America's fastest growing youth basketball program) and Eastbay (America's premier athletic retailer) are giving campers, parents, and national supporters an extra bang for their buck. Launching HSBCAMPS new online apparel store, 100% of all net profit from gear sales will be donated back to the HSBCARES Fund and other charities the national organization supports. Through the HSBCARES fund, HSBCAMPS is able to award camp scholarships, support basketball programs for disabled and underprivileged children, and provide public schools and youth programs with vital basketball equipment to operate at the highest level.

"Our collaboration with Eastbay has allowed us to make donors of everyone who decides to purchase our gear," shared HSBCAMPS founder Carson Sofro. "Many have no idea that their purchases are directly impacting many different people and organizations." Since 2007, HSBCAMPS has prided itself as the youth basketball program that "gives back", donating a portion of every program's proceeds to schools and non-profits within each of the communities they serve. With more than $50,000 raised to date, HSBCAMPS stands firm in its commitment to provide every child, regardless of age or income, with an opportunity to attend.

"We receive dozens if not hundreds of letters annually from parents and families seeking financial aid," added Sofro. "Through our new store powered by Eastbay, we are able to accommodate many of those requests and give people some nice looking apparel in return."
