Orlans Associates Appoints Chief Information Officer, Director of Legal Services

Orlans Associates (Orlans) announced it has appointed Thomas Czaplicki to Chief Information Officer and Julie A. Galante to Director of Legal Services.

TROY, MI, June 03, 2011 (Press-News.org) Orlans Associates (Orlans) announced it has appointed Thomas Czaplicki to Chief Information Officer and Julie A. Galante to Director of Legal Services. With more than 20 years information technology and business process reengineering experience, Czaplicki will develop and lead all aspects of IT strategy, including management and deployment of application and IT infrastructure supporting the enterprise's sales, marketing and service efforts.

Prior to joining Orlans, Czaplicki served as Vice President and CIO for Knape and Vogt Manufacturing Company. He also spent 17 years at Johnson Controls Incorporated, working his way to the position of Vice President and CIO for the Asia Pacific sector.

Thomas Czaplicki has a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Illinois in Champaign, Illinois.

Ms. Galante will manage the professional development of the Firms' attorneys enterprise-wide for Orlans Associates (Troy, Michigan), Orlans Moran (Boston, Massachusetts), and Atlantic Law Group (Leesburg, Virginia). In this role, Ms. Galante will be responsible for the growth and training of the Firms' attorneys and support the delivery of quality service and excellence in all aspects of legal representation to the Firms' clients in the banking and real estate industry.

Prior to joining Orlans, Ms. Galante served as an attorney and legal assistant at Plunkett Cooney, PC for 13 years specializing in personal injury litigation, wrongful termination, employment discrimination and sexual harassment.

Ms. Galante is highly involved in the philanthropic sector. She has participated on and presided over various committees within local and national organizations including the International Association of Defense Counsel, Birmingham Public School's PTSA, Birmingham Education Council, Birmingham Schools Sinking Fund and Bond Renewal Campaign, William Beaumont Hospital Pediatric Cancer Survivor Scholarship Programs, Birmingham Bloomfield Families in Action and the Birmingham Bloomfield Community Coalition.

Ms. Galante received her Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law and her BS, from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan.
